My husband, son and I had a wonderful 8 days in Slovenia. We like trying new adventures even at the age of 74. We went canyoning for the first time and loved it. Our guide was very patient with us. The other activities we did were zip lining, white water rafting, hiking in 2 fabulous gorges, going through a cave and bear watching. We had Sanda take us to all of these places. On the way she also told us about the history of the places we were driving through. All of the hotels we stayed at were amazing. The most luxurious one was the castle in Otocec. Don’t miss going to Bled. It has a beautiful lake that we walked around. We also walked up to a castle there. There are so many good things I could say but I’ll stop here.
